Netflix! Another Good Reason to Own a Droid Phone

I am so excited! Just found out today that Netflix has an app in the android market. I have Netflix to help me tolerate traveling.

I can watch a movie anytime, anywhere. And now I can get it on all my devices. Yay! So no matter where I am, I have choices.

I can pull out my trusty laptop computer or open up my Apple iPad or if Im in a real hurry, I can fire up the app on my DROID INCREDIBLE Android Phone.

I love Netflix. If you havent tried it yet, you can get it here (free trial).

Bing Quietly Adds Bulk Uploads to Local Business Listings

Bing has added a bulk upload tool for local business owners with multiple locations. Actually, “system” might be the more accurate word instead of “tool,” because it requires a Bing rep to “help with the setup process.” Here’s a look at how it works:

When logged in to your Bing Business Portal account, you should see a new “Add 25+” button right above your existing listings.

Clicking the button leads to a popup window with the following message:

FOR BUSINESSES WITH MANY LISTINGS

Bing makes claiming numerous listings quick and hassle-free. Please provide your contact information and details below and a business specialist will contact you shortly to help with the setup process.

The customer is now in control – get over it!

As previously revealed in this space, the Age of the Seller is succumbing to the Age of the Customer. In the new Age, control of the relationship between Seller and Customer has shifted to the latter.

This paradigm shift is largely caused by online platforms that are: 1) increasing the access customers have to information about a Seller and its products; 2) allowing customers to express and share what they have learned about and experienced with a business.

To put two fine points on the first element of the shift, in the new Age: Customers have access to virtually all the information they need before you know they’re interested, and prospects are similarly informed before you even know they exist.
