No one could fail to notice that something has gripped this nation over the last week. You only have to switch on the TV, open a paper or log on, to find some kind of offer that will help you celebrate the World Cup season. So now, more than ever, your business needs to pull out all of the stops.
Last month, thanks to the football and the weather, research from the British Retail Consortium (BRC) found that retail sales grew by 0.8 per cent on a like-for-like basis compared with May 2009, and total sales rose by 3 per cent.
Stephen Robertson, director general at the BRC, says: ‘The run-up to the World Cup helped sales of televisions, though this was largely discount-driven.

“But I don’t know what to write about!”

There are a lot of things that make blogging hard, but I’d suggest that coming up with things to write about is not one of them. In this era of information overload, when there are more places to find content ideas than ever, there’s no excuse for not knowing what to blog about. If you have trouble with that, here are the links to my recently completed series on finding stuff to blog about.
If there’s a main takeaway from the series, it’s this:
Blog content ideas are all around you. You can find inspiration from the websites you visit, from keyword research, from your analytics and from the people that read your blog. Blogging’s hard, but wi

Editors Note: I first heard of Michael Dolen when he pitched me for a guest post on this blog. Something about Micheals mail was different from the many others I receive. As we exchanged emails back and forth, I found out that Michael has a very interesting story of going from debt to a successful self-created career in blogging. I asked him if he would mind sharing his story with the readers, and he said his story was just another story of a bloggernothing special about it. But heres the thing even though your life seems regular to you, it can be a huge source of inspiration and learning to others. Boy, am I glad I talked Michael into writing down his story it is so jam packed with nuggets of information based on real experience! I hope you learn from it as much as I did.

Are you wondering what enhanced annuities are and how it can benefit somebody after retirement? Well, retirees with unstable health conditions or a shorter life span are paid enhanced annuities. The main tension after retirement is how to convert your pension savings into a manageable income to spend the rest of your life.
The enhanced annuities will be mentioned in a pack form provided by the pension company you save with. You will receive the form shortly prior to your retirement. The service is quiet similar to insurance. You need to pay a large sum of money to a particular annuity provider. In return, they will give you a monthly payment, which is proportional to your health. If your health condition is not stable, they will pay a good sum of money per month.
